Rida Hosain is a barrister and Advocate of the High Court. The focus of her practice is dispute resolution, constitutional law, civil and commercial litigation, international arbitration, human rights, and gender justice. Her practice includes constitutional and civil litigation in the High Courts. She is part of a Project led by Shirkat Gah proposing amendments to the workplace harassment law.

Rida is a regular contributor to Dawn, where she writes columns, long-form pieces, and legal commentary on legal and constitutional issues. She hosts a show for Dawn News English offering in-depth commentary on constitutional developments and recent judgments of the superior courts. Her commentary has also been featured in Al Jazeera. In 2021, her paper on the importance of female voices in the Supreme Court was published in the Pakistan Journal of Diversity and Inclusion. As part of the Women in Law Initiative Pakistan, she has actively advocated for increase in women's representation and how to achieve meaningful inclusivity in the legal profession.
